A small number of projects a year, so the person who drew it is the person on site.
New houses
From the first site visit to the final inspection. We work out what the site wants to do before we draw anything, which is usually why the finished house feels obvious.
Alterations and additions
Adding to a house that already works is harder than starting over. We spend the time on the join, because that is the part everyone notices afterwards.
Interiors
Kitchens, joinery and material selection, either as part of a build or on their own. We specify what is actually available in New Zealand, not what looked good in a European magazine.
Resource consent
The drawings, the reports, and sitting in the meetings. Twelve years of doing this in Auckland means we know which questions are coming.
